Don Alejandro (Efrem Zimbalist, Jr.) |
|||
Don Alejandro is a respected citizen of the pueblo. He takes an active role in the local politics and never hesitates to speak his mind whenever an injustice has been committed. He is a friend to the poor and tries to help the poor whenever he can. Don Alejandro clearly loves his son, Diego. He sees his son as a kind man who likes to keep to himself and prefers not to become involved in the local politics. |

While Diego is not the kind of son most men would want, Don Alejandro appears to accept Diego the way that he is.
Sometimes Diego does try his patience, but he never shows anger toward his son. |

Diego laughs softly, "Imagine that!" "Of course having Zorro for a son wouldn't be bad, but I love the son I have." |
