New World Zorro - Brazilian Stickers |
In 1991, Cromy released a set of 180 stickers in Brazil. 118 of the stickers feature publicity photos and stills from the series. The remaining 62 stickers feature illustrations of fencing moves and action sequences. The front cover of the sticker album shows Zorro and is an overlay to the second page of the album which has a picture of Don Diego. The front cover has holes where Zorro's eyes and face should be. When the front cover is viewed while closed, Zorro's face is Don Diego's face from the second page. This is a great idea, except that the pages are not lined up too well, and the eyes do not show clearly through the holes in the cover. The sticker album is divided into sections covering Zorro, Don Diego, Sgt. Mendoza, the Alcalde, and Victoria. One section has the story of "Dead Men Tell No Tales" with images from other shows interspersed throughout the section. All in all, the interior design of the Brazilian sticker album is nicer than the European sticker album; however, the European sticker album has a better selection of stickers. It is a bit harder to divide this sticker album into sections for viewing, since it is much more random than the European sticker album. I have not divided the stickers up evenly; rather I have divided them so that stickers which have the same general theme are all on the same page.
