"What we actually do is take 6 shows and do 6 in one block in 3 weeks so that we're doing pieces of each show and work is complicated. As a great acting troop, they're able to concentrate on which show we are doing at which time." |
"Peter Diamond, our 2nd unit stunt coordinator and director, he is the best. And we are very lucky, in that when we started the show, I said, 'Now if I could only get the guy who did something like Princess Bride.' I mean one of the best swordfights." |
"[The series] doesn't have any gratuitous language or sex and. . .it. . .is a family show that everybody can sit down and watch together that should be as much fun for a child as for an adult." |
"Duncan Regehr is Zorro. He played Errol Flynn in the miniseries [My Wicked, Wicked Ways], and it shows off a little of his panache and style that he has, and I think he brings to it an old-time movie star quality. He is a very handsome, very strong actor, and he gives out the subtleties of Don Diego and the flair and panache of Zorro. Coincidentally, he also is a great swordsman so we have a great luxury in that we don't need to double him very often. He can do almost all of his own swordplay."
